Let's GO, Seoul●Busan! 韩国首爾●釜山趴趴走!

안녕하세요 여러분! \^0^/
Annyeonghaseyo, everyone!

Finally we have come to the last day of our journey.
This will be the last post about our trip in Seoul/Busan.

For those of you whom have been following my travel journals, I would like to thank you!
I'm not a professional travel blogger (yet), there are much for me to improve.

Basically these journals are more about sharing our travel photos and my personal thoughts.
Hope that you will find these journals helpful in somewhat ways.

Let's finish this together, GO! :)

September 17, 2016 (Saturday)

Early in the morning, and we're back here at Myeongdong.

The main reason we are here is to return the universal adapter to the guesthouse we first stayed. They kindly lend us the adapter until the end of our journey without charge.

On the way down from the guesthouse, we had our favourite french toast from Isaac Toast, once more. (because we love it sooooo much!)

And you can tell how popular it is by looking at the queue itself!
We queued for almost an hour for this @_@

이삭토스트 | Isaac Toast

 ** Address : 서울특별시 중구 충무로1가 퇴계로105 **
** Operating Hours : 07:00 ~ 20:30 **

Holding our toasts, we went down to Myeongdong Street for last minute shopping. Personally I do favor much of Myeongdong Street than others, simply because there are much more choices here (I felt so, correct me if i'm wrong >_<)

(I will share with you all what I've bought from this trip later on in this post...)

Fast-forward hours later, we are about to go on-board. T^T
Jeju Air has just launched their new route to Kota Kinabalu few weeks ago.
And we are super excited to get on-board with our imaginary obbas! (HAHAHA)

Thought it would be Song Joong-ki, but Park Hae-jin obba is found at the back of our flight ticket!

Since it is a budget airline, there is no flight meal served (unless pre-order).
So before that, we picked up some bakeries from Tous les Jours.
(and I tried to use up all the coins there HAHAHA)

Yessss, we are on-the-plane now! whoohoo :D

Fast-forward again 5 hours later, we safely reached our hometown -- Kota Kinabalu!
(thank GOD for safe journey!)

As promised earlier, here are the random stuffs I bought during this trip! ^_^

Really miss shopping at South Korea...... T_T

And this is it, the end of our South Korea trip.
'Til the next time. Goodbye~ ^_^

안녕하세요 여러분! \^0^/
Annyeonghaseyo, everyone!

Hyehwa is indeed a good place to visit.
I love the cultural vibe of this town.

Come and follow our camera to visit Hyehwa and Hongdae in this post.

Let's GO! :)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

September 16, 2016 (Friday)

It's almost become a non-written custom that we KPOP lovers must visit a place which we could relate to our favourite artists/singers.

It so happened that there is a café which is opened by BIG BANG Seungri's mum around the corner of Hyehwa Street. Let's check it out! :)

AND here café

** Tel : +82-2-324-8464**
** Operating Hours : 11:00 ~ 22:00 **

Our maknae Jane bought us drinks. (komawoyo~ ^_^)

C'mon and I'll bring you around the café :D

Probably because its odd hours, they don't have much people in the café.
It's such a good place for hangout with friends.
Side note, the waiters are kind (and cute too *~*! omo)

On our way back to metro station, Jane found a street stall selling a childhood snack - sugar biscuit made of brown sugar. The biscuits are in different shapes. It is sold for KRW1,000 each.

From Hyehwa Station (420), we are now heading back to Hongik University Station (239), interchange at Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station (205 / 422).

** side note : we stopped by at Seoul Station to pick up stuffs from Lotte Mart **

Guess most of you are familiar with Hongdae Night Market.
Tonight we are going after something special for dinner.

This restaurant is specially famous for its unique menu -- Carbonara Chicken.
The tender chicken mixed with the creamy carbonara sauce just taste perfect together!

Carbonara Chicken

The Carbonara Chicken really really really impressed us! (thumbs up!)
It costs us for KRW17,000.
Don't miss this awesome diner place if you are here in Hongdae!

Additionally, this place is also famous for its special draft beer -- Fresh Cream Draft Beer.
Online review said it goes perfectly with the Carbonara Chicken;
however we didn't try it tonight (maybe next time?)

Have you ever seen an order remote control like this (below)?
Just hit the button on the control to order your drinks! (how convenient HAHAHA)!

After dinner, we spent some time shopping along Hongdae Street.
Seriously 2 hours wouldn't be enough @@

With mixed feelings, we bid goodbye to Jane and head-off to our guesthouse.

A big THANK YOU to Jane, for being such a caring and lovely companion :)
(sometimes I've just forgot that she is younger than us :p)

Hope to see you again soon!

안녕하세요 여러분! \^0^/
Annyeonghaseyo, everyone!

Oh wow, time flies in a blink of an eye.
Our trip is coming to an end now......

The second last day in South Korea, let's GO! :)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

September 15, 2016 (Friday)

We gonna catch KTX back to Seoul today. Train departs at 7:30AM.
As early as 5AM, we woke up and started to pack.

We got ourselves simple breakfast from the train station, and had it in the train.
It's surprising that simple breakfast like this would make my day and I'm so satisfied.

Our guesthouse for 1 night is Easy Trip Guesthouse, located at Hongdae.
From Seoul Station (A01), we will take metro (airport line) to Hongik University Station (A03).

After we checked-in to our guesthouse, without further a due, we take metro to Hyehwa Station (420), interchange at Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station (205 / 422) to meet Jane, our ex-highschool mate.

Jane introduced us to a local restaurant, BANA BANA, for lunch.
It is famous for Ddokbokki and Pizza.
It is located at University Road, beside Tony Moly.

Exiting from Hyehwa Station Exit 4, turn left and walk straight for about 5 minutes.
You should be able to see the signage board at your left-hand side.
The restaurant is located underground, you have to take the stairs.

We ordered Ddokbokki for 2 pax and 1 sweet potato pizza, and it costs us for KRW22,800.
It's our first time trying out sweet potato pizza.
The taste is exceptional!!!
Dip the pizza slice with whipping cream and/or honey sauce.

The portion is more than we expected, and even three of us couldn't finish them all.
If you're looking for something new, definitely recommend this ^_^

Hyehwa area is now popular to known as cultural town
as there are many arts and cultural studios and colleges are located here.

And you shouldn't miss Ihwa Mural Village if you're here.
From Hyehwa Station, take Exit 2, and walk for about 14 minutes to reach the destination.

On the way up the hill, you should be able to see this art painting.
If yes, you're on the right track ;)

This village is famous for street art paintings.
Guess it needs not much of explanation.
Just follow our camera~ ^_^

Meet our friend, pretty Jane :) 아이고이뽀라~ ^_^

Let's GO, Seoul●Busan! 首爾●釜山趴趴走!

안녕하세요 여러분! \^0^/
Annyeonghaseyo, everyone!

Here is another special post to share our staying experience in South Korea.
The previous review was about Seoul Global Hostel at Myeongdong.
You can follow the link here.

This one is about Best Western Haeundae Hotel which we stayed for 2 nights in Busan.

From Haeundae Station, exiting from either Exit 5 or 7, walk straight for about 7 minutes (400m), and you should see the hotel on your right-hand side. It is located right beside drugstore Olive Young.

Lift lobby

We booked through Booking.com, and the deal of a double room for 2 nights cost for KRW124,600 (about RM115 per night per person), not including breakfast.

We thought it is a good deal since we really wanted to have a comfortable and spacious resting environment/room.

Just like we expected, the room is up-to-standard.

The staffs at the service counter can speak fluent English, and they are ready to offer help.

As we are quite concerned that some places might not opened during this Thanksgiving Festive season, the staff helped us by making calls to confirm.

And indeed, the local museum was not open during that time, so we saved our trip.

Since most of our time we spent outside, we didn't fully utilize the hotel facilities.
Meanwhile, the room facilities are good enough to make us feel comfortable at all times.

The location of the hotel is superb.
The Busan Traditional Market is just opposite the road, 2~3 minutes away.
The Haeundae beach is on the right-hand side, head straight down the road for about 5 minutes.
You could find all sorts of entertainment and eating restaurants within walking distance.
