I’m so excited to introduce you to AXIS-Y, a Korean skincare brand which I’m very much inspired and amazed by their 6+1+1 Advanced Formula skincare (611) philosophy.
What is 611?
In the making process, AXIS-Y insists to have 6 ingredients + 1 core ingredient + 1 special patent technology for each and every product.
Meanwhile, AXIS-Y is free from 6 components: no animal product (vegan), cruelty free, paraben free, mineral oil free, no artificial fragrance and no artificial colour added.
Here we are going to review on its Cera-Heart My Type Duo Cream.

Product Description
A duo moisturizing cream customizing the different moisture needs for both “U Zone” and “T Zone”. What a good news to combination skin!
6 Ingredients
• Centella Asiatica (for T & U Zone) – improves skin’s moisture levels, fights premature aging, rich in natural antixodians
• Purslane (U Zone) – gentle for sensitive skin, stimulates production of collagen, defends against free-radicals
• Sorghum (T & U Zone) – skin brightening effect, reduces appearance of wrinkles, supports development of new skin
• Sage (T Zone) – soothes irritation, defends against bacteria and fungi, regulates sebum production
• Allantoin (T & U Zone) – aids in the healing of skin, increases skin smoothness, fights premature aging
• Rice (T Zone) – helps brighten skin, strengthens skin barrier, reduces oil production
1 Core Ingredient
• Heartleaf (T Zone) – helps control excessive oil production, defends against bacteria and fungi, prevents sun damage
1 Special Patent Technology
• Pure Medi (U Zone) – enhances the production of collagen, reduces collagenase (an inhibitor of collagen production), reduces wrinkles
Packaging
The product comes in standard size of 60ml / 2.02 fl. oz.
It is packed in a
sturdy plastic container and there is a partition which divides the two unique
formula.
I like the colour
concept where transparent light blue cream is for the T Zone and opaque thick
white cream is for the U Zone.
Scent and Texture
The blue cream has more watery and light texture which hydrates oily skin without the greasiness.
The white cream has richer and thicker texture which softens and supports dry skin.
Application
1. For hygienic purpose, use the provided spatula to scoop an adequate amount
2. Apply desired cream evenly onto the skin
Apply T Zone cream (blue) for oily areas, whilst U Zone cream for dry areas, OR mix both for areas that need extra moisture.
Store the cream in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight.
Personal Experience
Since I’m having combination skin, this moisturizer is really close to my heart. Instead of buying 2 different moisturizers, this ‘problem’ can be easily solved with this Duo Cream.
I like how light and watery the T Zone cream (blue) which doesn’t burden or cause breakout on my T zone area. The U Zone cream (white) is rich and very spreadable, even a thin layer is quite moisturizing for my U Zone.
