[Review] Aritaum - Ginger Sugar Tint Lip Balm No. 3 Dreaming Coral

Back with another lip product. Today I'm going to share with you a tint lip balm that is so cute and convenient to carry in your bag!

You don't wanna miss this if you are a fan of natural coral orange lip look! :D

If you have been to South Korea, you won't miss Aritaum this brand as you strolled along the street. This road shop brand provides a good range of makeup products at affordable price and it is quite popular among the locals.

I couldn't recall how I came across this brand, but certainly it was through YouTube. Since it was not yet available within Malaysia at that time, I wishlisted it and asked a friend who lives in South Korea to purchase for me. It costs approximately RM18.30 at that time. I thought it was a reasonable price, so proceeded to purchase immediately.

First of all, let's take a look at the available colors in the Ginger Sugar series.

I have always dreamed to have those lovely coral orangy Korean lip-look, just like those actresses. It tends to give a young and fresh overview impression in a subtle way.

When I received the product, I was overjoyed because it turned out the way I expected it to be!

As you can observe, remove the orange cylinder cap and twist the body.

 

Swatching color my hand. It is indeed subtle, yet utterly beautiful.

Now I'm going to try them on the lips! Can't wait!

Upon application, it feels like a layer of soft creme butter on top of your lips. Not burden at all, but comfortable wear.

Does the color transfers? Yes, it does. However, I don't mind reapplying because this way it could provide constant moisture protection on the lips.

Besides, personally I love it so much because it instantly revives my pale lip color. Well, although the "wow" effect is not quite observable, but I'm really hooked onto this low-key beauty item.

In fact, I am very much concerned with dry chapped lips recent days. In terms of moisture, I would rate this product as moderately helpful at the early stage of chapped lips. It soothes the dryness on the surface, but the color (of course) would appeared to be uneven due to dead skin cells. Nevertheless, when I have serious chapped lips, this product is far reach to undo the situation as it is not a medicine.

Overall, I really appreciate this tint lip balm so much so that I always carry it inside my bag, to give a little touch, especially on the lazy days. It is my ultimate coral orange crush for the time being!

[Review] Aritaum - Styling Eye Palette #02 Fatal Burgundy

Autumn is around the corner and I was reminded of this eye-shadow palette from Aritaum, which personally I think its colors are perfect for the season! :3 (well, although Malaysia doesn't have four seasons, heh)

A year ago I bought it during my trip in South Korea for KRW10,000 (approx. RM38~39). In fact, among the series, particularly #03 Coral Brown palette was the hit at that time, and it went out-of-stock almost everywhere in Seoul.

Luckily I was able to get #02 Fatal Burgundy (a.k.a. my favourite cause burgundy gives a mysterious vibe) even though it took me quite some time to search for it. Like finally!!

I find the packaging is cute and convenient, portable-size whereby you can carry it inside your pouch. With dual-tip sponge brush and a build-in mirror casing. Even the casing has a matching burgundy color!

As you can see, every color in this palette is usable. Quite an essential palette for various eye looks, be it daily look or night-out look.

Below I will show you my daily makeup look by using this eyeshadow palette... A simple makeup ;)

(1) Apply Peony (a.k.a. highlight) on the inner corner of the eyes using finger.

(2) Apply Epik (a.k.a base color) all around the eye lids using a flat brush.

(3) Apply Epik (a.k.a base color) under eye lids using a flat brush.

(4) Apply Mission (a.k.a medium/burgundy) on the outer corner of the eyes using base eyeshadow brush in tapping motion.

(5) Draw eyeliner using liquid eyeliner pen. Slightly winged.

(6) Apply Cameo (a.k.a. point color/gold brown) on the inner corner of the eyes using tip brush.

(7) Apply Cameo (a.k.a. point color/gold brown) along the eyeliner using tip brush.

(8) Using fluffy blending brush to blend the edges.

(9) ...and done! ;)

Simple eye makeup which you can wear it almost everywhere! :D

In terms of color payoff, personally I am quite satisfied, especially for the burgundy color, which is my favourite among five colors. These are shimmer eyeshadow, so you can definitely wear it for night-outs. All you need is to adjust the color intensity.

However, in terms of stay put, I would rate it moderate. Do expect some fallouts after applying the eyeshadow. Don't worry, just apply some finishing powder under your eye areas beforehand and you should be able to sweep away the fallouts easily.
