[Review] KCKC Color 卡奇色彩 Brow Pencil 自然生动双头眉笔

Blogging is my interest and I really want to be passionate about writing as well as be on time. Here we are, finally caught up with time. (can I get a pat at the back? 🤗)

Today I'm going to share with you a brow pencil, which is my current favourite brow product from KCKC Color 卡奇色彩.

Most probably you haven't hear of this brand, I assume. This is a Chinese online beauty brand. Thanks to a blogger friend (shout out to Sying Ooi @after.beauty_), I am able to come across this brand and I am well pleased with it's quality.

Product Description

It's a dual-end brow pencil with a brow spoolie attached on the other end.

Thanks to it's 3mm thin pencil, I'm able to draw a more defined brow (especially the brow end).

Currently this brand is mainly circulating in China, and unfortunately the product description is all written in Chinese on its packaging.


But don't you worry, basically I have covered the important notes in this blog post 😉👍🏻

You might think such thin brow pencil couldn't last long for daily usage - well, think again. As you can see below, it has rather long 'pencil lead' 😲

I'm using it on weekday basis (daily makeup) and this brow pencil can last for a good 3 months.


The pencil lead's formula is rather soft, so make sure you don't drop it on the floor with its lead exposed (surely the lead will break 😅).

Product Specification

Currently there are 6 colour variation to choose from the product line:

• 01#深棕色 Brown
• 02#浅咖色 Light Brown
• 03#卡其色 Khaki Brown
• 04#灰色 Grey
• 05#深咖色 Dark Brown
• 06#灰棕色 Grey Brown

I bought #03 Khaki Brown on my first purchase and I love it! Hence, I repurchase and got myself #05 Dark Brown and #06 Grey Brown.

Price

I bought this product on KCKC Color's Official Taobao Shop for RMB9.90 each (approx. RM6).

Meanwhile, I also saw there are some resellers across multiple online platforms, i.e. Shopee and Lazada. For the record, I didn't purchase from resellers, so I can't say or recommend any particular online shops on these platforms. If you wish to purchase from them, you should inquire for more details from the sellers.

Verdict

Words are failing me, this brow product is truly fairly priced and underrated! If you are not-so-particular with brand popularity and you are willing to try new product, I would definitely recommend this brow pencil to you.

[Review] Tony Moly Pikachu Mini Cushion Blusher 02 Rose Coral

Feeling cute and bubbly today? Eh I heard someone screaming "pika~" secretly in their mind. Is it you? 🐱

Right, let's talk about cushion blusher today by Tony Moly.

Product Description

This is a brand collaboration between Pokemon and Tony Moly. It's a cushion blusher, which explains why you will see a cushion puff instead.

Unlike powder blusher, cushion blusher has liquid formula, which blends into the base makeup easily and gives higher pigmentation.

"Pokemon, you're mine! Let's start the beauty adventure with this cute Pokemon." - Tony Moly.

Size

It comes in a rather cute size, as if it's a pokemon ball since it has already stated it's a mini cushion blusher.

Not sure if you can imagine by seeing these photos. Usually I can insert at least 3 fingers into a cushion puff, but here I can only do with 2 fingers.

Packaging

Absolutely adorable! I couldn't hold myself from cute and creative packaging. Like seriously, who can hold themselves from cute stuffs? Admit it or not, there is a soft part in everyone's heart, soul and mind (hehehe).

Particularly I fall for the cushion puff's pokemon ball alike design. Kawaii~😍

And of course, it comes with a mirror. Very handy.

Scent

It has this sweet berry scent which is quite prominent. You'll definitely smell it during application 🍒

Application

Press the cushion puff into the cushion pad, then apply it on the skin.

I'm using colour variation 02 Rose Coral. It gives a soft rosey and orangey hue to the skin. Suitable for spring and summer makeup theme.

It's pigmented. The formula is buildable, so you can apply multiple layers to have the colour more visible.

Price

It was a gift from a blogger friend (thank you Tammy!❤️).

Unfortunately I found that this product has been discontinued. Apparently it was a seasonal / limited time collaboration product.

(I'm sorry 😭🙏🏻)

Verdict

Overall, it's a decent product where it delivers its purpose - makes people blush. I really don't mind products which come in smaller size, because it means I will be able to hit the pan faster (before expiry) than normal size product, which usually take ages to do so.

- Recommend: For all makeup users.

- Repurchase: Not possible because the product has been discontinued.

[Review] Gracebabi Matcha Series Make-Up Puff 3-in-1

Huff-a-puff. Let's talk about some make-up puff today.

Yes, I'm venturing into China beauty brands lately (if you ever noticed hehe). The brand we are going to talk about today is none other than - Gracebabi.

FYI the brand name is pronounced as "grace-baby". How cute is it? 😏

It was back in 2019 when I first heard about this brand. Gracebabi is well known for producing good quality makeup-puffs, or also known as beauty blender.

Product Description

Are you a Matcha lover? 🍵 If the answer is 'yes', I bet you can't resist this colour, right?💚

These beauty blenders are made of Hydrophile Non-Latex Polyurethane (PU).

This set consists of 3 beauty blenders in different shapes.

1. Slanted-shape beauty blender

2. Water-droplet beauty blender

3. Stamping beauty blender

Due to its different cutting, it helps to apply base makeup edge-less-ly effortlessly! (if this makes sense to you)


The set also comes with a puff cleanser / soap.

Size

These beauty blenders are slightly different in size. You may refer to the graphic below for size reference.

Texture

These beauty blenders are soft and spongy at the same time. Just like other beauty blenders, they will expand once meet with water. It gives a more bouncer texture when use in dampen condition.

Packaging

The set comes in a paper gift box (as below). Perfect for gifting, right? 🤩

For hygiene purpose, each beauty blender is kept inside a plastic capsule by itself. These plastic container can be cleaned and reused. I must say, this design is so thoughtful! 😁👍🏻

Also it comes with a beauty blender stand (in pink) which you can place your beauty blender after finished using it.

Price

I bought this set from Taobao Global for RMB49.90 (approx. RM30+).

Average 1 beauty blender only cost about RM10! Can you believe this? I'm impressed.

- Repurchase: Probably not the same set, but I'm definitely repurchasing from the brand.
