[Review] W.Dressroom Dress & Living Clear Perfume No. 79 Damyang

Hello everyone! 👋🏻

Not long after I purchase my first clear perfume from W.Dressroom, I quickly bagged another product from the same product line. Check out my first product review on W.Dressroom here.

Product Description

No.79 Damyang is from W.Dressroom Limited Edition series on discovering Korea unique scent. In fact, Damyang is a county in Jeollanam-do, South Korea where tourism is a major local industry. You just can't miss the Juknokwon Bamboo Forest when you visit Damyang. Also notable local products are bamboo goods and strawberries.

Having said that, the scent I will be sharing today is very much reminds me of nature.

Fragrance

I really enjoy the feel of walking along the country road after rain. You can feel and smell the moist in the air. It's therapeutic and it helps calming the mind - that's how this fragrance smells.

But as I mentioned in the earlier post, the fragrance doesn't last long, so you will need to spray a lot for the fragrance to stay.

Packaging

It comes in a clear plastic bottle with a spray-head. Nothing more, nothing less - true minimalist.

Price

I bought this clear perfume from Hermo for RM20 while it's original retail price was RM32.90. Do check out their website for seasonal price mark down.

Verdict

Although the scent cannot last long, it does deliver the scent which it claims.

- Rating: 3.5/5

- Recommend: For those who enjoy nature forest scent.

- Repurchase: Possible. I would definitely try out more scent from the brand.

[Review] Tony Moly Pikachu Mini Cushion Blusher 02 Rose Coral

Feeling cute and bubbly today? Eh I heard someone screaming "pika~" secretly in their mind. Is it you? 🐱

Right, let's talk about cushion blusher today by Tony Moly.

Product Description

This is a brand collaboration between Pokemon and Tony Moly. It's a cushion blusher, which explains why you will see a cushion puff instead.

Unlike powder blusher, cushion blusher has liquid formula, which blends into the base makeup easily and gives higher pigmentation.

"Pokemon, you're mine! Let's start the beauty adventure with this cute Pokemon." - Tony Moly.

Size

It comes in a rather cute size, as if it's a pokemon ball since it has already stated it's a mini cushion blusher.

Not sure if you can imagine by seeing these photos. Usually I can insert at least 3 fingers into a cushion puff, but here I can only do with 2 fingers.

Packaging

Absolutely adorable! I couldn't hold myself from cute and creative packaging. Like seriously, who can hold themselves from cute stuffs? Admit it or not, there is a soft part in everyone's heart, soul and mind (hehehe).

Particularly I fall for the cushion puff's pokemon ball alike design. Kawaii~😍

And of course, it comes with a mirror. Very handy.

Scent

It has this sweet berry scent which is quite prominent. You'll definitely smell it during application 🍒

Application

Press the cushion puff into the cushion pad, then apply it on the skin.

I'm using colour variation 02 Rose Coral. It gives a soft rosey and orangey hue to the skin. Suitable for spring and summer makeup theme.

It's pigmented. The formula is buildable, so you can apply multiple layers to have the colour more visible.

Price

It was a gift from a blogger friend (thank you Tammy!❤️).

Unfortunately I found that this product has been discontinued. Apparently it was a seasonal / limited time collaboration product.

(I'm sorry 😭🙏🏻)

Verdict

Overall, it's a decent product where it delivers its purpose - makes people blush. I really don't mind products which come in smaller size, because it means I will be able to hit the pan faster (before expiry) than normal size product, which usually take ages to do so.

- Rating: 4.5/5

- Recommend: For all makeup users.

- Repurchase: Not possible because the product has been discontinued.

[Review] Gracebabi Matcha Series Make-Up Puff 3-in-1

Huff-a-puff. Let's talk about some make-up puff today.

Yes, I'm venturing into China beauty brands lately (if you ever noticed hehe). The brand we are going to talk about today is none other than - Gracebabi.

FYI the brand name is pronounced as "grace-baby". How cute is it? 😏

It was back in 2019 when I first heard about this brand. Gracebabi is well known for producing good quality makeup-puffs, or also known as beauty blender.

Product Description

Are you a Matcha lover? 🍵 If the answer is 'yes', I bet you can't resist this colour, right?💚

These beauty blenders are made of Hydrophile Non-Latex Polyurethane (PU).

This set consists of 3 beauty blenders in different shapes.

1. Slanted-shape beauty blender

2. Water-droplet beauty blender

3. Stamping beauty blender

Due to its different cutting, it helps to apply base makeup edge-less-ly effortlessly! (if this makes sense to you)


The set also comes with a puff cleanser / soap.

Size

These beauty blenders are slightly different in size. You may refer to the graphic below for size reference.

Texture

These beauty blenders are soft and spongy at the same time. Just like other beauty blenders, they will expand once meet with water. It gives a more bouncer texture when use in dampen condition.

Packaging

The set comes in a paper gift box (as below). Perfect for gifting, right? 🤩

For hygiene purpose, each beauty blender is kept inside a plastic capsule by itself. These plastic container can be cleaned and reused. I must say, this design is so thoughtful! 😁👍🏻

Also it comes with a beauty blender stand (in pink) which you can place your beauty blender after finished using it.

Price

I bought this set from Taobao Global for RMB49.90 (approx. RM30+).

Average 1 beauty blender only cost about RM10! Can you believe this? I'm impressed.

Verdict

- Rating: 5/5

- Recommend: For all makeup users.

- Repurchase: Probably not the same set, but I'm definitely repurchasing from the brand.
