Today I will be reviewing Atopalm Real Barrier's Extreme Cream.
Product Description
This is a rich moisturizer which was developed for those who require serious skin care. Extreme Cream is able to provide even long-lasting hydration, compared to the other products in the same product line.
Atopalm Real Barrier uses Multi Lamellar Emulsion (MLE ®) technology, an internationally patented technology, which recreates the same compounds and structure of real skin, thence reinforcing the weakened skin barrier.
It also contains star ingredients, such as panthenol, allantoin and madecassoside, which not only soothes irritating skin, but also protects the skin from harmful external environment.
What differentiate Extreme Cream from other products in line is that it contains Idealift, a skin firmness-boosting compound that firms up sagging skin.
Packaging
The moisturizer comes in a sturdy plastic container with a white twist-able lid. It comes with a protective lid inside, to prevent product from spilling.
And a mini spatula, to scoop out the product.
Texture & Scent
By far, it has thickest and richest texture compared to other products in the same line (which you can read my review on Aqua Relief Gel Cream here and Intense Moisture Cream here).
It has almost balm-type texture, which gives packed with hydration and yet not greasy on the skin.
Similarly it has the hint of lemongrass and minty scent - cooling yet not overpowering.
Application
Take sufficient amount and apply after cleansing and toning your face. Suitable for day and night application. I would prefer to apply thicker layer on my face as well as neck area during night routine, for the skin to grasp the best out of the products throughout my beauty sleep.
Personal Experience
As the age is taking of me, I find the product more relevant than ever. It's surprised to see that my skin quickly absorbed the product and I can feel the plumpness just by the finger touch. Well depending on your skin condition, you may need to monitor and adjust the amount of usage accordingly.
What I like of this product the most is the hydration that it provides, without leaving the skin sticky or stuffy.
