[Review] Perfect Diary 完美日记 9-colour Star Dust Eyeshadow Palette 光影星河九色眼影盘02秋叶

About the brand

Established in year 2017, Perfect Diary set up its first online shop on Taobao. With the vision of becoming the Chinese Beauty Icon, Perfect Diary is one of the renowned online beauty brand in China, offering a full range of makeup products, from foundation to lipstick.

What product is this?

The palette I have here is 02 Autumn Leaf (秋叶), featuring 9 warm orangy shades which perfectly portrays the colour of autumn. You can create many eye makeup looks from this palette.

Packaging and Design

It comes in a fold-able envelop-like packaging, with magnet opening and a large square mirror.

To note, I especially adore its cover design - it's like an oil painting (see first photo).

Texture

Not only the colour payoff is high, the eyeshadow glides on the skin smoothly, especially the shimmer ones.

My favourite shades from this palette are: Maples in Sun, Path Not Taken, Goodbye Green and Hidden Winery.

Particularly these colours are perfect together: Path Not Taken, Goodbye Green and Hidden Winery.

Golden Memory is actually pretty too. See it matches with my nail colour!

Personal Experience

I love the fact how easy to create the "cute and bubbly" eye makeup look with this palette. Having said that orangy-burgundy makeup is timeless, this palette is no doubt handy. Personally I think this is one of the must-have eyeshadow palette from Perfect Diary.
