[Review] Common Labs Ggultamin Real Jel Mask Vitamin C

Hello everyone! :)

This is not the first time I'm writing product review from Common Labs (read here). I am very impressed with its gel essence which is perfect for an intense moisture quench for the skin.

What product is this?

Common Labs' Ggultamin C Real Jel Mask is a 2-step skincare - it comes with a peeling pad for exfoliation and a sheet mask for skin brightening.

What are the key ingredients and their functions?

Propolis extract helps to improve skin hydration and skin barrier.

Vitamin C derivatives for skin brightening and antioxidant.

Niacinamide to strengthen skin barrier and help balance oil production.

Centella Asiatica extract soothes and promotes wound healing.

Packaging

It comes with a good quality paper-like texture packaging - which gives a good impression (for me personally).

Product description is available in both Korean and English - user friendly.

Texture and Scent

The sheet mask itself is made of Cupra sheet - microfiber around cottonseeds which provides a very soft texture and breathable texture. It also holds the brightening jelly essence more effectively.

It doesn't have significant or striking scent.

Application

Wash your face and apply toner. Remove the Peeling Pad from the pouch and gentle swipe it across your face.

Then remove sheet mask from the pouch and gently unfold. Place mask onto the face and leave on for 10 to 20 minutes. Remove and pat in the remaining essence for better skin absorption. Proceed with the rest of your PM skincare routine.

Here's how I incorporate this 2-step skincare into my night routine.

PM routine:

Makeup remover > Cleanser > Peeling Pad here > Sheet Mask here > Eye Cream

Personal Experience

Despite this is not my first time using sheet mask from the series, I'm still amazed with its gel essence. No doubt it's so rich in hydration! Perfect for travelling because the air is usually very dry in the hotel room.

To be honest, I can't say much on its brightening effect since I am not using it consistently.

[Restaurant] Late Night Dinner @ Odette Music Restaurant & Bar

Hello everybody!
Just touched down in Kuala Lumpur, and was brought here by my friend for a late night dinner.


Odette Music Restaurant & Bar

I was caught in amazement when we walked into the restaurant.
It is decorated with racks of red wine bottles and the unique green lime lighting surely creates a laid-back hippy atmosphere.

Also they decorated the entire ceiling with hanging artificial plants, makes you feel like walking into an indoor magical garden.

In terms of food choice, you can get both Asian and Western cuisine here.
And you know me, can't say 'no' to pasta.

I ordered Smoked Salmon Pasta.

Honestly, I have high expectation on their food since they put extra effort on setting the atmosphere.

For me, the pasta is too salty / savoury where it overlaps the salmon taste.

Serving portion is small considered it's pricing.

Truly, not the best pasta I had. :')

Nevertheless, it won't stop me from revisiting this restaurant because I really enjoy the dining atmosphere where there will be live jamming / singing on the weekends.

Oct 19 Birthday Dinner @ Adelphi & Co.

Hello October!

And we are the October babies.. mum and I.

Thanks to our beloved only man in the family (a.k.a. my dad),

we are celebrating our birthday at Adelphi & Co,

a really really atas place to have really really good steak.

Not gonna lie, this is not a dining place that I can afford, not even on a monthly basis..

Thanks dad for the premium experience. :3

Okay, not only for me lah, mainly for my mum as beef is her favourite.

C'mon, we are here for some serious good premium juicy beef (oh yeahhh).

If you know little (to nothing) about beef (that's me),

better ask for the waiter to explain the menu.

Their service is professional and the staffs are patient in explaining the menu.

Is it a rib-eye or striploin that my parents had ordered?

Geez, I have no idea.

One thing for sure, THE BEEF IS SO GOOOD!

My parents requested the beef to be cooked medium to well-done.

It might looked a bit dry (crispy) on the outer crust,

but oh dear, tender juicy on the inside.

Geez, why I didn't take photo of the inside... (blaming myself silently)

Oh, speaking of surprise element,

you know what has blown my taste bud?

Have you had foie gras (a.k.a. the liver of a duck or goose)?

THIS!

Phew, THIS IS SO GOOOOOD!!!

The taste reminds me a bit of the fatty layer of pork meat,

but the texture is nothing like that.

So soft, tender and full of flavour.

Actually I'm more of a pasta-lover.

I ordered Truffle & Bacom Pappadelle,

which is served with wild mushroom, Parmigiano, 63 degree egg.

To ensure the freshness and the quality of the pasta,

they make their own pasta from scratch, freshly everyday.

If you appreciate good pastas, this is the right place.

The pasta is rich in flavours, and yet not overwhelming.

I would say it was taste-satisfying high-end restaurant dining experience here in Adelphi & Co.

Excellent food and service in overall.

Worth it or not?

It really depends on the willingness of you spending on some really good food.

Thanks dad for bringing us here tonight! Awesome dinner.

I won't be able to have this kind of premium experience without you..

(plainly because I can't afford to in my current situation lol)

电影《JOKER》观后感想

这部电影你看了吗？

我记得我是带着很沉重的心情走出的电影院。头部还微微地发疼。

自己一个人的时候也想了很多。

世界是不是生病了？
我们到底活在一个怎么样的世界里。
不平等待遇、欺压、仇恨、离异、嫉妒、暴力……天天在上演。

我听过有人这么引述“孩子们生下来是一张白纸，全是后天的造化塑造了今天的我们”。

很多时候我们会带着有色眼镜去看别人。
我也为之忏愧。
但其实我们不知道这些人的背景，是什么导致他们今天的情况。

很大可能是因为我们没有兴趣花时间了解对方，
从而产生了误会和歧视。

这部电影提醒了我要多关怀身边的人，
不单指的是物质上，
更多的是精神上的需要。

电影比较暴力、血腥，不适合小孩子观看。
但确实是一部令人改观的电影。

如果你已经看了这部电影，
或许你会有共鸣。

电影一开始，你或许已经下意识地设下了有角色设定：
“啊这就是他，看起来精神状态和正常人不一样。”

因为这个缺陷，他饱受了人们的欺侮。

但私下的他其实是个很体贴的儿子，每天定时照顾母亲的起居。

他不明白为什么母亲坚持不懈地写信给当今市长候补人。
母亲还说，要是那男人知道他们母子俩现在的情况，一定会同情他们的。
后来才从母亲的陈述中了解到了自己的身世。

他寻找机会，鼓起勇气去认亲。
却知得他母亲其实患有妄想症。

事实是他是被他母亲领养的，
而且当他还是襁褓婴儿的时候，
就遭受了母亲的虐待，
导致他如今的精神障碍。

从而看来，他，错了吗？
没能出生在一个健全的家庭里，是他的错吗？
没能像正常人一样生活，是他自己所导致的吗？
他万万没想到啊。

活在一个郁闷的社会里，
弱势群体成了人们发泄情绪的对象。
万万不应该，可是它还是在发生。

就像小小的火苗遇上燃油，
他爆发了。

他的出现，人们有两极化的态度。
有人视他为变态杀人魔，也有人拥戴他为反不平等待遇的领路人。

是好，是坏，岂是一句话可以概括的？

在阅读侦探故事时，往往在交代杀手的背景的时候，多半我们会发现他们来自一个破碎的家庭，又或者经历过某些难以释怀的创伤。

是病态社会塑造的杀手，还是变态杀手塑造的社会？

处在现今生活步伐紧凑的时代，大家会有感到疲惫、无助的时候；
寻找正确的情绪发泄管道是很重要。

我本身就很享受在卡拉OK房放肆嘶吼唱歌。:p

《我们不能是朋友》全剧终观后感想

追这部台剧也快四个月了，
终于全剧终。（呵呵）


发个小牢骚：这个每星期出一集的出片速度也太吊人胃口了。
有错觉整部戏很拖。。


每当我和身边的朋友聊起这部剧的时候，
一定会有人说这部片很变态，伤伦理等等的。


可是我是真的有一集一集看这部剧的，
根本就不是这么一回事啊。


问起他们为什么会对这部剧有这样的看法时，
他们都会回答说看到脸书的广告短片。
哎哟，那个短片剪接的太过分，超误导观众的，好不好？！
没想到身边的朋友们心都那么纯洁（哈哈哈！）
给道德老师个赞！

整部剧围绕的话题就是——
交了男朋友的你，到底可不可以接受别人的追求，
就在这个课题上纠结了整4个月之久。


郭雪芙饰演的周惟惟和交往三年的男友黎皓一过着很拮据的生活，
为的就是有一天能有攒够钱买房子，结婚。


过分节俭的生活剥夺了生活乐趣和小情侣的情趣，
日子久了，一切变得太理所当然了。


理所当然一个礼拜只有周末可以见面，
理所当然办公室里装作不认识，
理所当然不和朋友聚餐，因为要省钱，
理所当然要坚持下去，因为毕竟是三年的感情。


就在这个时候惟惟遇上了由刘以豪饰演的證券王牌交易員褚克桓。
剧情一开始就为“褚克桓”这个角色营造了“变渣总裁”的形象。
纵然他已经有一个交往10年的女朋友，也不避忌和别的女生亲密互动，
还在天时地利人和的情况下遇到平平无奇的女主周惟惟。


男主在了解女主已经有男朋友的基础上还强行主动追求她。
这是个道德课题——可以吗？







可以理解大家看到这里可能都会觉得这个举动伤伦理，不道德。


对，我也不认同这样的行为。
女主也很坚决的拒绝了他的追求，接着也有反抗，
因为她知道她已经名花有主。
这里要给个赞！
正因为她知道他们俩这样的情况下不可以在一起，
所以剧情才可以拖到13集的呀~~~~（我的妈呀）


但偏偏遇上男主是个找到目标不轻易放弃的性子，死缠烂打。
一拖再拖，我们观众就这样看了4个月（苦笑）


OK，为什么他明明有个交往10年的女朋友晾在一边，光明正大去追求其他女子？


事出必有因。
其实男主不是大家所想的那样，是个渣男。
反而你知道原因了以后，会反过来同情他。


交往10年的女朋友其实一开始就是手女友的妈妈所托，
往生前交代男主要照顾好他们家的两个宝贝女儿（对，女主还有她亲妹妹）。


男主一身正义，工作赚钱给3个人用，
也把女主的妹妹供到国外去留学了。


褚克桓的女友名叫高子媛。
名字真好听，人也长得娴熟，但是人格就比较偏激。
因为她把自己的人生都绑着褚克桓。
事事都说是为了男友好，可是那都是她自以为是，别人根本没有要求她这么做。
就连当年把他们俩未出世的孩子偷偷打掉，也是瞒着男友去做，
根本没有两口子商量的余地，彻底使克桓对这段关系死心。
但基于有约定在先，他姑且把她晾在一边，想说日子久了或许事情就有解决办法了。

长话短说，有些事情不是时间就可以解决的。
时间拖长了还更！难！解！决！
感情的问题就应该是速战速决。
一拖再拖反而更难理清这关系。


很多人在看这部剧的时候都会不由自主的喜欢袁艾菲饰演的韩可菲这个大剌剌美女。
说话很大声，行为举止也很大尺度，不过为人很真诚，
也是女主的好闺蜜。

我个人比较傻眼的就是一开始以为可菲会和官配的颜百洋走在一块，
结果。。。。。。。

戏演到一半，颜百洋没有预警的突然下线（傻眼）
编剧到底是想怎样啊？
我们观众也不是可以这样糊弄的（苦笑）


还没有看这部剧的朋友，
如果怕剧透就别看下去了哈哈哈


因为因为可菲到最后结果和办公司死对头大卫走在一起了！（噢买尬！）
一个誓死不愿意和一个男人绑在一起的可菲，总算找到了她的真命天子。
两人的性格其实还挺般配的。。一个愿打，一个愿挨。哈哈哈！

好啦好啦，我只想说这部剧真的不是伤伦理的片啦。安啦。
里面有很多道德价值观的课题值得我们去思想，
尤其是那些正在恋爱中的朋友们。
沟通，对，要多沟通。
你不说出来，对方怎么会知道你在想什么呢？

可能有些人已经知道了，其实这次是郭雪芙和刘以豪的一次一起出演情侣了
上一部是相隔5年的作品《喜欢一个人》。
在追《我们不能是朋友》的期间，因为出片实在太慢，
我便跑去把《喜欢一个人》也看完了。
我只能说，他们俩的演技在5年后真的提升了不少。（呵呵）

好吧，今天的分享就到这里搁笔了。

《SKY CASTLE 天空之城》全剧终观后感言

"we all lie.. tell you the truth..."

想必很多人听到这剧名时会联想起它的片尾曲《We All Lie》。


这部家庭剧意外地获得南韩观众热烈的喜爱，
从收视率1%荣升至20%，
全剧20集，剧情超写实，
加上演员们精湛的演技，
足以让观众死死追剧到底，
看完之后还有意犹未尽的感觉。


这部剧很红不说了。
那是2018年尾的事。
该部剧今年2019年1月完结了。。
我却现在才后来追上（苦笑）。


老实说，我对大部分的剧情不太有共鸣。
毕竟我们马来西亚的教育制度和南韩确实有一大距离。
南韩的学生们面对高考的压力，
我个人认为并不足以和我国的SPM来比对。


确实我国和韩国的教育体系有差别之处，
但毕竟我国于发展国家的教育看齐，
所以在剧中反映的剧情很有可能有一天会发生在我们的周围。


曾经身为学生的我，
很能够体惜读书考试成绩的压力。
11年的学校生活，
面临一个个排山倒海的考试测试小考，
也曾经让我感到厌倦，
也曾经想过为什么要这样过，
难道没有其他的办法？


和大多数的人一样，
我没有反抗。
也没有能力反抗。


我也被说服了，
教育将会决定你的未来。
知识是力量。


感谢主，还有感谢我的父母。
我也顺利毕业了。


但是剧中的孩子们就没有那么幸运了，
纵使他们被外界认定是韩国那1%的优越者。


其实里面藏有少数不为人知的秘密。
有钱的父母不惜花重金请私人导师，
严密的监控孩子的学习进度和成绩保障。


为什么上流社会要不惜一切来保证孩子们能考进明星大学？


为了孩子的未来？
为了家族的名声？
为了自己的欲心？
为了社会的眼光？
追根究底到底为了什么？


看这部剧让我做了很多反思，
也试着换位思考，
假如是我在他的立场，我会怎么做。


我觉得这部剧之所以那么有魅力，那么吸引观众，
是因为它带出了人们很真实的想法和情感。


剧情一开始就上演了一场贵妇们举办的盛大庆功宴。
庆功宴的主角是一名SKY CASTLE里的贵妇，
因为她成功地将儿子送进首尔医大——大家都向往去的明星大学。





很有排场的庆功宴背后的目的是什么？
贵妇们暗地里计划着如何能够讨到考入首尔医大的秘诀，
也好将自己的孩子顺利送入明星大学。


看似成功的人生，
人人都称羡的成功母亲，
朴英才的母亲为什么会选择在孩子考获大学入学证之后开枪自毙呢？
没道理啊。


杀死英才母亲的真正凶手是谁？


故事才刚刚揭开序幕。
人心的恶魔，你见识过吗？





女主角韩瑞真想确保大女儿能够顺利考上首尔医大，
是为了完成婆婆的心愿，达成三代医生家族的欲望。
正因为她原生家庭背景和丈夫家不匹配，
为了讨好婆婆，她愿意不惜一切花重金请来明星导师来重点辅导女儿。
但她万万没有想到她即将面临的危险以及考验。。。
这位导师。。交给她辅导女儿真的没问题吗？






话说每个人都有他自己的故事。
这位100%成功率将辅导的孩子们送上首尔医大的导师她的真正面貌是？
曾经育有一名天才女儿的金珠荣女士，
因为自己的贪念和欲望，
亲手把天才女儿毁了。
不能接受现实的她，
心理不平衡的想把自己的痛苦“分享”给其它的父母，
和她一样，因为贪念和欲望把孩子当棋子的父母。





整部剧的转泪点是在黄治英教授一家搬进SKY CASTLE开始。
这一家人和其他SKY CASTLE的居民显得格格不入。
他们没有有钱人的架子；
儿子天资聪颖，父母不强逼孩子上补习。
别人看上去就是一家让人嫉妒万分的完美家庭嘛。
但是他们一家真的如大家所想象的那样完美吗？
难道人家天生就完美吗？
没有努力吗？


就这样，故事主要围绕在4个家庭中。
家家有本难念的经。
不亲身活在里面，你是不知道的。
总是你看我好，我看你好。
事实呢？








三言两语我很难把我的观后感言好好的描述写下来。


总而来说，这绝对是一部很值得推荐一家人坐下来看的家庭剧。
触及到的课题会有点沉重和严肃，
不过父母可以利用这个机会和孩子们讨论交换想法。


希望大家看完了这部戏后可以堂堂正正地面对生活。
在忙碌也千万别忽略和父母家人的关系！
