Food is as equally important as sight-seeing when it comes to travelling.
While we were doing our pre-travel research, this Hill Street pork noodle stall appears to be one of the top recommended food stalls in Singapore.
The stall has been awarded by The Michelin Guide in Singapore 2016,
and ever since, their customers are ever lining up to taste the goodness.
Let's have a try and see~!

旅游时,除了看风景,还是吃吃吃!
出门前我们就已经做好功课了。
这家坐落在Hill Street的猪肉粿条面获得了2016米其林新加坡指南认证后,
慕名而来的食客从来没有减少过。
走,我们也去尝尝~!

The hawker stall is located at the ground floor of a condominium.
You just might missed it if you don't look carefully.
It offers a handful of menu to choose from:
1. Fried fish
2. Kuey Teow Soup
3. Dry noodle *signature*
4. Seaweed Soup
5. Meatball soup

You can choose from, small, regular or large servings. The price differs.


你很难想象,其实这么有名的档口竟然是在一座公寓底楼的小贩中心。
不看清楚,仔细找的话,很可能会路过。
他们的菜单很简单利落。有五个选择:
1. 炸扁鱼
2. 粿条汤
3. 干面 *招牌菜*
4. 紫菜汤
5. 肉圆汤

可以选择小/中/大碗。价钱不一。

It was their lunch time / rest hour by the time we reached the hawker stall.
The staff handed me a waiting number, and we will place order accordingly later.
The business resumed around 1PM. There were already 10+ people lining up.
We placed our order according to the queue number, and that took 20 minutes up to my turn!
Once placed the order, we proceeded to line up on the other side, to collect our dish.


我们抵达的时间刚好他们午休。
店员给我一张号码牌,说是等下会以这个顺序来档口点餐。
大约下午1点,档口恢复做生意。大约有10几人在排队着。
我们依序号码牌一个一个点餐。这都要足足20分钟才轮到我!
点餐后,我们再到档口的另一边排队,等拿菜。

I ordered their signature dish - bak chor mee (minced meat noodles), with the noodle component tossed through black vinegar, chilli paste, salted fish and other ingredients.

我点了他们家的招牌菜——猪肉粿条面,弹牙面条捞上黑醋,辣椒酱,猪肉碎,肉丸,猪肝,咸鱼,炸猪油等材料。

I never tasted anything like this before!
The taste is soury (black vinegar). Not too spicy.
The salted fish and fried pork fat compliment the entire flavour!
Very appetizing and addictive!
SGD6 for a small bowl of pork noodle may seemed overpriced for street food,
but having said it was awarded by Michelin Food Guide,
I think it is quite reasonable.
Plus, most importantly, IT TASTES SO GOOOOOD!!!

Definitely recommend to try if you're in town!
(even now I miss the taste :9)


这是我从未尝过的味道!!
酱汁比较带酸(黑醋),不会辣。
加上咸鱼和炸猪油,味道很奇特!
会吃的很开胃、上瘾!
虽然说新币6吃一碗大排档猪肉面会听起来很贵吃,
但基于它受获米其林的推荐,
其实也不太过分吧。
最重要的是,它真的很好吃!!!

推荐大家在新加坡可以来试吃!
(其实现在我对它的味道依然留恋忘返)
