[Review] Garnier - Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water

Hello everyone! :)

We all heard of the wonders Micellar Water offer to the beauty industry now.

So what if Micellar Water meets oil? Does it sound like a legit makeup remover?

Let's check it out! ;)

Review; Garnier's Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water
Garnier's Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water | 125ml

No doubt, I'm a BIG FAN of Micellar Water. You actually are not require to rinse / wash your face thereafter using it to remove and cleanse, which is super duper lovable by lazy people (like meyy hahaha).

But well I do double cleanse for most the time (when I'm in my concious heh).

I was given this Garnier's Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water by Hermo after joining an e-shopping campaign held last year. I knowww, why it took me so long to share about this? :s

Cut the long story short, let's dive into its functions and results right away!

Having said its 1st Oil-Infused Micellar Cleansing Water, Garnier combined its Micellar Technology with nourishing Argan Oil to further enhance the makeup removing power. While Micelles capture and lift away residue in the way of magnet, the oil helps dissolve traces of makeup and nourishes the skin.

It's suitable to use on all skin types - face, eyes and lips.

Look carefully and you will observe there are two layers of components inside, having the oil layer on the top and water below.

Shake well before use. Here I'm using Sasatinnie's (product of Sasa) Flower Embossed Cotton Pads.

The product came out non greasy and very much like the normal Micellar Cleansing Water at this point.

Review; Garnier's Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water

One thing for sure you won't miss is its fragrance. It's very pungent and reminds me of high-end perfume. Flowery and powdery smell. It's either you like it, or not at all. For me, I quite enjoy it actually (heh surprise!).

So here I'm going to do a quick demonstration with my full face with simple makeup on (as below). Without eyeliner and mascara. :)

And proceed to swipe the cleansing water-infused cotton pad across my face. Time to get cleaned!

I'm using both sides of the cotton pads and now I'm showing it in halves (as below). In total, I used up two cotton pads (on both sides) to remove makeup on one side of my face.

And here's the result.

Do I like the idea of Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water? Yes, of course.

But am I impressed with the result? Honestly, not really. :/

When brands trying to sell oil-based makeup removing products, I'm thinking of instant makeup removing power like BAAAM. Apparently, this product right here has moderate makeup removing power, which I had to go in a few times in order to pick up the makeup residue. :/

I would say, simple makeup with powder and sunscreen on would be easily removed with this product, but say gel liner, mascara and liquid foundation, it might require a little more effort.

This product is available on Watsons Malaysia for RM39.90 for 400ml.
