I have always wanted to try Hada Labo's product after watching Jeon Ji-Hyun's advertisement (bet you have that moment too, right? :p).
Then I came about Hermo was doing 11:11 sales where you can choose any 2 Hada Labo's full size lotion at RM79.60! To be honest, I was going to purchase their Blemish & Oil Control Hydrating Lotion, however it went out of stock before I checkout my shopping cart. (T_T)
So I went for my second choice - AHA/BHA Mild Peeling Lotion.

I was not only suffering from unstoppable breakouts, but also flaky and super sensitive skin at that time. :/ Super stressed out.
Currently my normal days go-to toner is Muji's Light Toning Water (Moisture). Very gentle on sensitive skin, but it isn't target for acne and flaky skin. So I set out to look for a toner with that functionality.

Talking about it's product packaging, it comes in a cylinder sturdy-plastic bottle with a flip cap, as seen in the photos above. The bottle is opaque, so you can see how much product left from the side.
The lotion/toner formula is runny, colorless and odorless. Here I'm using Silcot's Uru Uru Puff (my favourite!).
To use, pour sufficient amount onto cotton pad/puff, then gently wipe on face and neck area, avoiding eye area. For demonstration purpose, I'm using it on the back of my hand (as below).
Before I decided to purchase this lotion, I was very worried that if this product too harsh for my skin, considering it's AHA and BHA properties.
I must say, it's REALLY MILD and GENTLE (and it's proven now)! Indeed my flaky skin areas improved after wiping with this lotion. The dead skin is being collected and wiped off, without ripping moisture away from skin. Also it leaves the skin fresh.
However, in terms of pore tightening and acne care, sadly I didn't see any significant improvement after using this lotion. Blackheads keep haunting me still. :/ Guess this is too mild for my skin condition?
If you're looking for a gentle AHA/BHA toner to start off, maybe you can consider trying it. This product is available on Hermo for RM66.
